Infusion Setting:
Our infusion centre is designed with your comfort and safety in mind – comfortable chairs, well equipped high speed WiFi, coffee and tea is provided and each patient receives individual attention and time.
Referrals:
Health Care Professionals can refer to the Infusion Centre directly or ask their patients to contact the Infusion Centre themselves. Our friendly admin staff will facilitate the infusion booking and ensure that the process from referral to completion of the infusion is as seamless as possible.
Follow up:
Once you leave the infusion centre your experience with us is not over. We are available to answer questions, address concerns and provide support and feedback going forward.
Frequently Asked Questions:
An intravenous infusion is the administration of prescribed medication or fluid given though a vein. Access for this administration is through a cannula inserted into a vein usually in your arm or hand.
Your health care professional will need to refer you for an infusion. They can do this telephonically or via email.
If your health care professional has indicated that you need an infusion you may contact us directly and book that.

Most medical aids fund intravenous infusions from your hospital benefits. Some medical aids will not fund the medication but will cover the infusion costs.
If you are not on a medical aid, please let us know and we will assist you as much as we can.

Most infusions take about 90 minutes, but this will depend on which infusion you are getting as well as the dose of medication you will be receiving. The staff will advise you on the approximate length of the infusion when your booking is made.
You are welcome to have one person accompanying you to your infusion.
Yes, most medications that you have been prescribed are safe in pregnancy. Your referring health care professional will discuss your options with you as well as weigh up the risks vs benefits of the medication being prescribed.
This will depend on what infusion you receive. Most side effects are mild and easily managed. These are most commonly fatigue and a mild headache.
You are welcome to contact the Infusion Centre of you are concerned and you will be given an after- hours contact number for any concerns your may have once you are home.

Follow the signage for CT Infusion Centre as you enter the Golf Park. The infusion centre is located in Golf Park 4 and is on level 2 of the building.
Dial 404# on the doorbell and a staff member will let you in.
There is free parking at the infusion centre. Please bring along your driver’s license to gain access at the booms. You can park in Golf Park 4
